Aaron Tilley

Aaron Tilley, JD, CPCU, ARe, AIC
Aaron Tilley has over 20 years of international business experience focused on the North American, Lloyds, and offshore commercial insurance markets, including work in Continental Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia. Aesir is his third successful startup, and each organization remains active today.
His background also includes leadership of a successful turnaround, earning an organization’s initial financial rating, analytics development, and systems integration; representing Fortune 1,000 policyholders and global P&C carriers as counsel; and managing over $1.2 billion in claims that were in active jeopardy. Aaron has written approximately $100 million in excess casualty premiums with a loss ratio of ~12% and over $50 million in primary media E&O premiums with a 36% loss ratio.
He is a licensed attorney in NY (inactive) and TX (retired) and has earned the CPCU, ARe, and AIC professional designations. Aaron earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, cum laude, with Foundation and University Honors.

Greg Morrison has a wealth of experience in the insurance and reinsurance markets. He has served as Chief Executive Officer for several private and public (re)insurers and currently sits on the board of directors for multiple insurers. Mr. Morrison is a qualified (retired) actuary and holds a degree in Mathematics.

Elisabeth Ditomassi
Elisabeth Ditomassi
Ms. Ditomassi is a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of experience. Her early professional focus included commercial litigation and the prosecution of public corruption crimes. In the second part of her career, she transitioned to the insurance sector, serving as General Counsel and Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Insurance.
Subsequently, Ms. Ditomassi served as General Counsel and Global Chief Compliance Officer for Beazley Insurance, a global specialty lines insurer based in the UK, and later as Chief Compliance Officer of AXA XL’s North American Compliance and Regulatory function.
She is also the co-author of a treatise on insurance regulation, “Fundamentals of Insurance Regulation,” and has taught this subject at Boston University’s Program for Financial Studies within the School of Law.
Ms. Ditomassi resides in Boston with her husband.

Anson J. Aguiar

Anson Aguiar
Anson is a seasoned insurance professional with a background in excess casualty underwriting. He spent much of his career at AIG, profitably underwriting Fortune 1000 accounts before transitioning into the reinsurance sector, where he held senior management positions at various companies.
Anson was appointed CUO of Sandell Re, a Class 3A reinsurer, where he grew their portfolio of construction general liability risks. He then assisted with the sale of the company to Randall & Quilter and moved into the retrospective reinsurance sector, gaining insight into underwriting, actuarial, and operational aspects of numerous (re)insurers through his involvement in legacy transactions.
Prior to joining Aesir, Anson held the role of CUO of Pallas Reinsurance Company Ltd., assisting in the formation of the company and providing a Bermuda-based platform for Compre Group, the parent company, to operate.
Anson has a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Risk Management and Insurance from St. John’s University, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, and an Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation.

Vincent LaPunzina
Vincent LaPunzina currently serves as Vice President at Aesir Insurance. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to underwrite a profitable book of business within the National Accounts sector and has been a top contributor at his previous organizations within this segment. He brings with him a robust network and a strong reputation in the industry.
With over 10 years of experience in the insurance field, Vincent has specialized primarily in the National Accounts Excess Casualty space. Prior to his current position, he held the role of AVP at Everest Insurance.
Vincent earned his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University.

Jason Snyder
Jason Snyder has over 20 years of experience in education. He worked as a teacher for 14 years before moving into campus leadership roles as an assistant principal and principal. During his time in campus leadership, he focused on strengthening systems of safety and security, instruction, and community engagement. He increased staff retention and made data-based decisions that improved educational outcomes for his students.
He currently holds a Principal Certification for the state of Texas. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts and his Masters of Educational Leadership from Texas Christian University.

John C. Lenzen
John has over 30 years of experience as outside counsel and in various senior Legal and Claims roles for insurance and reinsurance companies principally involving U.S.-based risks. His roles have included General Counsel and Head of Claims for Chubb (previously ACE) Bermuda and its Dublin subsidiary, 15 years as Deputy General Counsel, Litigation and Chief Litigation Counsel, Global Claims for the ACE and Chubb Groups, and General Counsel to a Bermuda 953(d) insurer and a Bermuda rent-a-captive reinsurer.
Throughout his professional experience, John has fairly assessed and adjudicated countless high-severity claims under commercial policies involving excess liability, financial lines, property, political risk and bespoke insurance and reinsurance contracts, involving underlying losses up to 11 figures and spanning the globe. He also has extensive, hands-on experience managing commercial litigation in the U.S. and internationally, and employing creative negotiating strategies to resolve complex, 8- and 9-figure disputes through mediation and direct discussions.
John has served as an international arbitrator, mediator, expert and consultant. He is both a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a mediator accredited by the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR). John is a graduate of Rutgers University (B.A. and J.D.) and the University of Michigan (M.B.A., with High Distinction in Finance, Corporate Strategy, and Business Economics). He also attended the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
John is licensed to practice law as an attorney in New York, Michigan, and Texas, as a solicitor in England and Wales, and before numerous federal trial and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court of the United States.
